Not all newborn photographers receive specialized training in newborn safety, posing, and infant handling. Newborns are delicate, and certain poses, props, and setups can be unsafe when performed incorrectly.As the area's only newborn safety certified photography studio and staff, JMS FACE Photography has received specialized training in safe newborn posing techniques, infant comfort, and newborn handling practices. Every session is conducted with your baby's wellbeing as the highest priority.Our team carefully monitors your baby's comfort, positioning, temperature, and overall safety throughout the entire session, allowing parents to relax knowing their little one is in experienced and caring hands.Beautiful portraits are important—but nothing is more important than your baby's safety.

We recommend booking during your second or third trimester. Your due date is reserved on our calendar and your session date is adjusted once baby arrives.

The ideal time is between 5 and 12 days old, when babies are typically sleepiest and most comfortable for posed newborn portraits.
